Since 2003, Suzette Boulais, has served as Executive Director of Art Partners of Central Illinois Inc. A city funded, not-for-profit organization that promotes the arts as vitally important to Central Illinois, community's cultural and economic development.
As an artist Suzette enjoys hand painting and designing her own note card line.Heart Art, which is carried by several floral shops, and art galleries in Peoria, Illinois.
Regarding her large paintings, Suzette's, work is strongly influenced by artist Mark Rothko, whose abstractions deal with basic color schemes, combinations,and shapes that evoke a simple mood or impressions.
